I read this quote on my friend Tommy's blog, and I love it.

I've got to start thanking God for every blessing he's given me, not just the generic.  I am truly a very lucky girl because of all the blessings my Heavenly Father has given me.  

I'm leaving Cedar this weekend and my heart is breaking.  I know I'll see most of my friends again, but there are some of those friends that I just love and I'll probably never see again. To my friends:  I've cherished every moment with you and I'm excited to see you all grow up and move on!  Go big, or go home! (and there better be no one going home!)

I'm suuupppeerrrr excited to complete at least half of the things on my bucket list for this summer! :) 

Some items on the list are:

• Read a book
• Sleep in the bed of my truck
• Go camping with friends
• Create a chalk mural
• Have a paint fight
• Glow in the dark bubbles
• Get smooched...(:
• Go to the drive in movies
• etc, etc.

To everyone I have met and all of the experiences I've had in Cedar: You have all impacted me in some sort of way.  Whether the impact was small or large, I am a better person because of you.  I know who I am, what I stand for, and what I want in life.  Thank you.

To all my friends from good ole' dub-J:  We better party this summer!  It'll be great to have you back for a while! :)

I'm going to Sand Hollow again today, and I'M STOKED!! :)  Sun, sand, water, cliffs, fun, and more fun.  Yeah buddy.

There's this kid at home and I might just want to see him one more time... :)  Pathetic and cheesy?  I know!  But hey, a crush is a crush!

I still don't want to get married for a long time! :) 

I'm selling my textbooks back today.

This year has FLOWN by!  If life only gets faster, I have no idea how fast the next five years will fly by!

One day, I want to be in love like this couple!  They're absolutely darling and I love this video! There was a cute video of her waiting for him to come home from his mission, and a cute video of their engagement, and now they're married! :)

Right now, I'm currently in love with yellow laffy taffy, krave, and stroganoff....and that's how I like it!  But...maybe one day, there might just be a man who sweeps me off my feet!

I just got an email from my teacher (the teacher that NEVER gives A's) that said this:

Danielle,

Assignment 2 looks good to go.  I think this is ready for your portfolio.  Same for #1.  Nice work, and way to take advantage of the freedom to revise!  Concentrate on Assignment #3. I think it will decide whether you get an A or a B+.

THERE IS A CHANCE I WILL GET AN A!!!!  You bet I'll be revising Assignment three 25 times until I can get an A! :)

Missionaries.

Aren't missionaries just the greatest? :)

I mean, ever since I was 15, I've wanted to go on a mission, but I never knew how much a mission truly changes people. 

Right now, I'm writing a bunch of missionaries, and I LOVE getting letters from them. 

I'm writing my best guy friends from home, and they are seriously changing so much.

I can tell that they are becoming closer to the Lord than they have ever been in their lives.

I'm also seeing the boys here at school change as they prepare for their missions, and it is amazing.

This weekend, my friend Red is having his farewell, and then he is leaving for the MTC next week.  I am so proud of him.  He is a great guy, and I love our chats.  It is amazing how much a person can change when they decide to put the Lord first in their life.   

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO ON MY MISSION!! :)

Quick.Break.

I should be re-writing my English essays right now, but I already re-wrote one and a half papers, so I decided I deserved a quick break!

Every day is a great day in the life of Dani Ward, but today is an especially great day!

Reasons why:

1. Boss, Roard, Kay, Krugster, Megan, and I signed our contract on our apartment for fall semester!  It's going to be a blast and a half and it'll be absolutely beautiful! I am stoked!

2. I passed my yoga class and I no longer have to go!! Yay for falling asleep in yoga and snoring so loud you wake yourself up!

3. Roard and I took a great walk today from our future apartment to campus, it took 15 minutes, and that was slow paced :) 

4. The weather outside is absolutely beautiful!

5. I was in a photoshoot for my friend about girls and insecurity.  It is going to turn out really great!

6. I'm going to have a superb night tonight, which will consist of tacos, Mr. SUU, and working out!

7. Next semester I will be getting paid $620 dollars to come to college!  I have to pay for no part of my education....BOOM BABY! :)

8. I got a shout out from Owen Wilson on Power91 radio!  He said DANI WARD! :)

9. I love my life! :)

Lately.

I've been blogging a lot lately, but it's because I have a lot to say! There are thousands of things running through my head at one time!

My life has been insanely busy, but there are a few things that keep me sane.

They are:

1. Quickly blogging when I don't have enough time to work on my papers.

2. Getting letters from Corb and writing him back.

3. The Youth Gems I get emailed to me every day!  

4. Not doing any homework after 10:30pm.

5. Going to institute.

Highlight of the day.... THE HOTTIE P.A. KNOWS MY NAME! :)  Yay for insanely handsome boys who I'll never have a chance with!  Haha :)

Also, I get emails from the church every day called Youth Gems.  Today's message was:

"Raising our children is a much greater responsibility than we can do alone without the Lord’s help. He knows exactly what our children need to know, what they need to do, and what they need to be to come back into His presence. He gives mothers and fathers specific instruction and guidance through the scriptures, His prophets, and the Holy Ghost."

I hope one day, FAR IN THE FUTURE, I will be a great mother and I will be able have God's help to teach my children all they need to know.  I know that through the thick and thin, I'll have God by my side. :)

Family.Zoned.

Recently, a couple people I know have been getting family zoned (aka sister zoned, or brother zoned) and I've seen how it has impacted them.  

I am a seriously sarcastic person, so in my life, I brother zone guys ALL.THE.TIME!

I speak without thinking and before I realize what I've said, I say something to the extent of:

 "I said you looked like my ten year old brother", 

or 

"that shirt makes you look like my five year old brother."

or even worse

"you guys are just like my brothers!"

I am so sorry if I have ever family zoned you and you took offense.  I really do love all my friends, and I don't mean to make them feel bad when I brother zone them.  What my friends don't know is that the people I love the most are my siblings.  My siblings all have the coolest qualities, and that's what makes them absolutely superb! So, when I brother zone people, it's not a bad thing.  Because I seriously do want to marry someone who acts like my brothers, and who respects women like my brothers.  I won't settle for anything less. 

I am truly sorry if I offended you though...sarcasm is definitely one of my biggest downfalls :)

On the flipside, to all my friends who have been sister zoned.  You are daughters of God.  Don't let any stupid boy tear at your heart because he said you are his sister.  I love you, and there are many other people in this world that love you.  I'll always be right beside you, supporting you in all you do.  Don't let boys get you down.  We're young.  We're growing.  We're learning.  We're being shaped into who we truly are.  If it wasn't for silly [or not so silly] heartbreaks, and unfortunate letdowns, we would never have time to rise to our full potential.  Life is not supposed to be easy breezy.  We all have a purpose.  I love you.  You know who you are.  AND some of you that I'm writing about...you may not know I'm writing about you, but I love you too.  Don't forget it.
